Early Surge In Housing Market

Positive early signs for home sales. Compared to last year at this time, there seems to be an uptick in inventory being obtained. In speaking with agents around the office; I am getting the indication that there are a lot of new homes being prepared to come on the market. Given that inventory is rather low in the Greater Charlotte area this is a positive sign.  With rates ticking upwards, home owners looking to upsize, downsize or relocate now is the time to list your home for sale. Buyers are starting to feel the pinch as well; as they still want to get settled but might not feel as though they can get more house for the money. Needless to say signs are pointing to another busy spring and summer market if not even busier then 2016. So if you are either a seller or buyer, I would highly advise taking the steps needed to getting your home prepared for sale and/or prepare your finances and speak with a mortgage broker.  Call me, I am on one of Charlotte's top producing Re/Max teams #MyCharlotteTeam we also have our own team lender with Atlantic Bay Mortgage.
